In Scottsdale, the busiest days for florists are Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and the weeks before prom and Christmas, when prices rise and delivery windows fill up, so order several days ahead. Across Arizona, delivery fees depend on distance, and hospitals and funeral homes have their own drop-off hours. For a wedding, book a consultation six to twelve months out and bring photos and a budget; for sympathy flowers, the shop can deliver straight to the funeral home if you give the service time. Scottsdale is in Arizona, in the Southwest, where the desert climate brings very hot summers, mild sunny winters and the summer monsoon; outdoor businesses shift their hours toward early mornings and evenings in the hottest months. Traffic in Scottsdale peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Rose and Thorn Florist created beautiful sympathy arrangements for two of my friends after they lost loved ones. Both bouquets were absolutely stunning and thoughtfully designed, but what impressed me most was the care and compassion they showed. They truly went above and beyond what we expected. It’s clear that they put their heart into their work, and we are so grateful. I would highly recommend Rose and Thorn to anyone looking for gorgeous flowers and exceptional, personal service.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rose & Thorn Florist! They created the most breathtaking bouquet for my mother’s 86th birthday with very last-minute, same-day delivery, and somehow exceeded every expectation. The arrangement was absolutely stunning — elegant, vibrant, and truly one of the most beautiful bouquets my mom has ever seen. She was so emotional when she received it and kept saying how special and extraordinary it was. Thank you for making her birthday unforgettable and for putting so much care, artistry, and heart into your work. I’m beyond grateful and will absolutely be recommending you to everyone I know!

I had an exceptional experience with Rose and Thorn. Jean, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful during a very difficult time. She even stayed open after hours to help me choose memorial flowers, which meant so much to me. Jean took the time to work with me when I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, offering guidance and patience every step of the way. The arrangement turned out absolutely perfect — truly beautiful and exactly what I had hoped for. I highly recommend Rose and Thorn and will certainly be using them as my go-to florist in the future.
